So the other day was Canada day, and Steve realized he’d totally forgotten about it, until the next day. It must be summer; where it’s easy to loose track of the days, with a flurry of activity that generates a lot of buzz around here.

So the summer is underway, with Mission Adventures going full swing. We’re in our second cycle of 5 this summer of our short term outreach program aimed at youth.
The students are working with a variety of different ministries this summer, from all over Ensenada. They’ll be doing VBS, building, open air evangelism, service projects, and much more. In the evenings we’re running a program for them with a speaker, at theme, and worship, and some planned activities, to really drive home the point; that our job is to expand the Kingdom of Heaven here, and now.

At the same time, our newly appointed campus director Tym, is out of town on vacation for most of this month with family, so Steve has taken on the leadership responsibilities of the Ensenada campus. At the same time, we’re both very excited about the amount of activity that we’re seeing regarding the Discipleship Training school that we’ll be running this fall. We hope to have 30+ students, with a real heart for worship and prayer.
