University of the Nations Workshop

This week, we’ve been in Kailua-Kona Hawaii, for the biannual UofN workshop.  It’s a training time for those involved in YWAM Schools, where we gather together, and seek God’s will for the upcoming season.  This year’s theme is “Equipping for Multiplication”.

We’ve been very excited to be part of the conference this year.  We’ve seen so many old friends from all over YWAM.  Steve even ran into an old friend of his twin brother’s from Budapest.  There have been about 400 workers from all over the world who have been participating.  The week has been very full, and as we write this, we’re actually playing hooky from this morning’s meetings to enjoy the pool at the incredible estate where we’re staying.

The Kona Plantation; where we stayed most of the week.

Tomorrow morning Steve flies out, with Gemma following in the evening.  We’ll meet up in San Diego, and then head back to Ensenada for Monday afternoon, where we will be reunited with our kids, whom we miss terribly.  Our friend Alex has been kind enough to look after them while we’re gone.

Not wanting to waste any time, we’ll jump right into staff training for the DTS on Tuesday morning, with the arrival date quickly approaching.  Please pray that we can take care of all of the last minute details, during the next week and a half, or so.
