I
joined YWAM back in 2001, and did my training in the UK. During the outreach phase of the training, I went to Las Vegas, where my team worked with a lot of Latin people, and I really got God’s heart for them. A while later, I moved to Tijuana, Mexico, to begin working with YWAM there. I moved to Mexico after doing my discipleship training school it was In Tijuana, it was there I met my future husband, who was regularly on loan to the Tijuana location, from Ensenada. We met, fell in love, and were married a year later.
My husband once called me a Jellybean, and the name sort of stuck! I am kinda quirky and unique, like a jellybean:) I’m originally from England though my accent is a mess, as i grew up a missionary kid, I lived for several years in New Zealand, married a Canadian, work with a bunch of Americans, in Mexico.
Since moving to Mexico I’ve served in a variety of areas. my passions though, will always stay the same! I have a tremendous passion for prayer ministry and for worship, For people and discipleship in its many forms.
it has been my honor to serve alongside my husband in many areas over these years and to continue as we start new things.
I’m currently compiling a devotional book, running a prayer room, starting “despiertate” city wide prayer day, helping with the training ministry here on base, and alongside my husband looking forward to starting the worship prayer internship in the spring.
my biggest honor and privilege is to be a wife to my wonderful husband and a mother to my two precious adopted children who change my life every day.
Life is journey and it is by his grace we get to live it, and by his grace and love i have such a wonderful family to life this life with.
if we are called to expand his kingdom by loving one another, I know my family are expanding the kingdom every day with a WHOLE lot of love.
